The Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS), although currently limited to fighting in north Iraq and east Syria, has managed to gain the support of Muslim extremists from across the world--igniting a trend that threatens to expand their jihad outside the confines of the war-torn Middle East.

There's a new hacking group in cyberspace, and it's going after the Islamic State's online propaganda. Less than 24 hours after ISIS social media accounts posted a threatening message from the group's leader, the audio recording was replaced with a song and its transcript with a logo resembling that of the Egyptian military, accompanied by a writing in Arabic that read "Egyptian Cyber Army."

Across the region, protesters took to the streets in fury threatening to re-ignite worsening sectarian tensions in Lebanon, Iraq and Bahrain. This video talks about the Middle Eastern crisis between Saudi Arabia and Iran.
