The Importance of CSE - 1 views

  •
A website managed by the University of Washington. It is a site that is mainly focused on the field of computer science, its importance, and career pathways. You can find movie clips of people who made computer science and engineering their career. They are good examples of computers scientists and engineers who don't sit behind their keyboards programming and designing the latest computer games or avatar. They are in hospitals, offices, and in classrooms. This resource will be used for the career pathway section in our project.

This site is created by a worldwide volunteer community. It has computer science activities with instructions and worksheets. Some are with photos and videos showing some of the activities in action, and we've collected links to other useful resources. The activities are primarily aimed at the five to twelve year-old age group, but can also be used to teach older children and adults too with little modification. Teachers will be able to interactively engage in the activities in this site or will be able to download the activity worksheet for classroom use.
