This site talks about the importance of using technology in all levels of education from elementary to secondary schools. The student's learning experience is enhanced through implementation of fun and comprehensive technology programs. Some of the tools used to create this fun learning experience are powerpoint and multimedia, which is used to help create lesson plans. Students can gain valuable computer skills using these tools to create dynamic webpages, projects, and designs. Teachers that integrate multimedia in their lesson plans can give their students a visual learning experience. Students who are exposed to these lesson plans have the opportunity to see engineering in a different light. Engineering is no longer seen as a tough and complex science, but rather a fun and exciting process which can be used to control and manipulate variables.

A site for educators teaching computer science to college students. There are sample lesson plans and teacher links that we can use for our virtual library especially in the section for teachers of adult learners.

Here is another site for free video lectures on math and science. It contains a lot of interesting and educational topics that you can use for research or for teaching. I will be looking for specific CSE video lecture courses that can be embedded into the virtual library.

Tips are offered to assist students with planning projects, creating databases and links to establish a strong technology foundation. Lesson plan libraries are offered to assist with planning in any subject area of your choosing. The virtual library also provides a glossary so that users can have a fundamental understanding of the terminologies used in the technological world

This is a great video resource for online courses and video clips from leading universities. I found some interesting videos that are related to Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) studies which we can incorporate in our project.

This is a webpage for CS educators of students from high school to higher level of education. It contains teaching tools, resources, and software links. Our SIG will include this site in our virtual library because it covers "real world" simulations, interactive activities, and software (like Kodu, Small Basic, XNA).

It serves the information and career-development needs of today's computing researchers and professionals with books, conferences, conference publications, magazines, online courses, software development certifications, standards, and technical journals which we may need as resources and community/forum links for our virtual library.

This site is created by a worldwide volunteer community. It has computer science activities with instructions and worksheets. Some are with photos and videos showing some of the activities in action, and we've collected links to other useful resources. The activities are primarily aimed at the five to twelve year-old age group, but can also be used to teach older children and adults too with little modification. Teachers will be able to interactively engage in the activities in this site or will be able to download the activity worksheet for classroom use.
