Companies always complain about competition when it's too late and they've already missed the band wagon. These other companies have had chances even if it was small and incremental to make improvements to their broadband offerings and they chose not too. It is growing! I saw a commercial a couple of years ago that really struck me. It depicted two kids in a very modern home in Japan with their mother mulling about doing house work. Instead of playing video games on the large flatscreen on the wall, they were engaged in a math course talking to the teacher in real time. I have to believe that it is very real model that will evolve and succeed as it is at USC. Great article, thanks!
