Hey there, I am the owner/creator of this group. I created this little project in my senior year of high school, which was over five years ago. I have neglected it since then, and I apologize for that. I am going to be in need of the resources that Diigo provides for the foreseeable future, and I would like to maintain this group on a regular basis if there is the interest here for that. Since there are so many of you guys (476 members is a LOT more than I ever expected would come here) I would hate to just leave this page to die. Are there any of you active in here?

Please let me know, and I'll be glad to continue to upkeep this page, and make sure it is the best possible resource for writers. :)

I am the creator of this group. I started it for my graduation project last year, but never dreamed that its usefulness would continue on beyond that. I'm sorry that I have not been moderating this lately, I didn't think it was still being utilized. I am so happy that this has become a beneficial tool to some of you, and I promise to be more involved now that I'm aware of its activity. Thank you all.

Topic #1, to get us started.
What do you do when you don't know where to go with your story?

Often, I listen to music and imagine what my characters would be doing if they listened to that song, or what they'd be doing RIGHT NOW, if they were alive. I take my characters out of the story, and imagine them as real people. If that doesn't help, I look at where I want the story to go eventually, and work backwards from there. I come up with as many different scenarios as I can, then write them all out as far as I can think of.

Includes a Writer's Block Tool, a Topic and Title Generator, a Vocabulary Tool and an Info Page.

Not so much a resource as something fun to play with.
