Khan Academy is an app that has downloadable videos for k-12 math, science & economics, humanities, test prep, talks and interviews.

Mathway helps students solve math problems. The free version will give you answers to your math problems. A paid subscription will provide step by step work and explanations to the problems. My special education math teacher uses this app with her students who struggle finding answers to math problems.

Evernote lets you take notes, capture photos, create to-do lists, record voice reminders--and makes these notes completely searchable, whether you are at home, at work, or on the go. I like Evernote because it doesn't require wifi to look at your notes.
