Animation Factory is one of my most favorite animation related websites. It contains a variety of .jpg, and .gif. Users can set up an account for free however, they will have to pay for a membership. Once they have access to the objects, the user is able to use graphics at will for their needed purpose. It is royalty free as the author is not expected, other than their membership fees, to make additional payments if in fact they make money from their website, project, etc. that they produce. The intended audience are professionals in a plethora of fields. There are graphics displayed that are related to business, technology, education, healthcare and a number of other fields. There are three levels of membership. A gold membership is 59.95 and you have access to Animated Clipart, Media Elements, and Tiled Backgrounds. A platinum membership is 99.95 and users have access to all tools on the Gold level and Power Clipart, PowerPoint Backgrounds, PowerPoint Templates, and Video Backgrounds. Lastly, the pro membership is 199.95. The user has access to all tools on the gold and platinum level, and access to Flash, HD Video Backgrounds, Sound Effects, Sound and Music, and Video Elements. Each membership payment is good for one year from the start date. The quality of the graphics is phenomenal and can be used continuously on website, reports and etc. due to the high resolution provided by the website's download tools.

Open Photo is an image related website that displays clipart and photo graphics from across the nation. It is a copyright free resource where individuals have posted their artwork so that others may use it for various purposes. Each is displayed by category and divided into their appropriate sections. It is intended for individuals of all ages. Users do have to create an account and they also are able to research the database for all photos by subject. These graphics can be used and inserted into projects, reports, and websites and used for means related to the user's needs. The graphics is medium to high quality, which is dependent upon the author's pictures and submission of the photo. The photos appear to have the ability to be used in other forms if needed for such use.

In addition, it will be extremely helpful in a science classroom, to assist with introducing acids and bases.

Users do not have to signup for a free membership, unless they wish to upload and share videos. The website is well organized and provides videos for grades K-8, in several different content areas. Therefore, this repository will work best in a K-8 educational setting. In addition, it will be exceptionally beneficial in a math and science classroom to introduce new concepts.

Dreamtime is an amazing site that allows users access to a variety of quality images. These images can be used as valuable resources to enhance classroom instruction.

Dreamstimes is a photo repository that supplies a numerous amount of quality digital images. This resource could be used to aid in several different content areas. However it works extremely well for science because of the variety of images available and the attention to details provided in each image. The primary audience benefiting from this resource would be 9-12 secondary science classrooms. More specifically an anatomy & physiology classroom would enjoy it most. In the classroom students would be able to search, share, and save images of various body systems in the human body. An excellent lesson would be to have students break into small groups, locate 2-3 images of the body system being introduced in class, then collect images of the organs that the system is composed of. Once they are finish they can describe how each organ works together to maintain homeostasis within the system and the body. Finally students can share what they have discovered with their peers and they will have quality images to help aid in their presentations.

LIFE Magazine Photo Archives is a very exciting image repository with tens of thousands of free images. Images come stocked from thousands of picture token over the years by Life Magazine photographers. This site is very user friendly and has resources available for all ages. The best group of students to use this resource with is students 9-12. They would benefit from these resources because it offers such a large volume of images. This would be very valuable for this group of students to research images for History. Because Life Magazine is so famous for capturing and writing about some of the world greatest moment, accomplishment, and conflicts student could use the images to create a time line. Each images could be used to represent a significant event during certain time period in history.

BusSongs is that one location (site) where you can go to find many childhood songs for your classroom. The songs can teach students about behavior, holidays, cultures, and many life skills. FCCLA students could use a song in a PowerPoint presentation to keep the students' attention or add them to a cd to use during instructional time. Some songs can be used for PTA meetings or graduation ceremonies.

A school for purchase a site license for teachers and students or a the district make a purchase for everyone in the district to use. Middle schools and high schools would benefit from this site because they can use such sounds to create a product for competitive events.

These photos are available for private or commercial projects. The photos are divided into alphabetized categories, and a search bar allows users to search for a specific image. These photos would work well in any classroom setting. They would work especially well for students in a graphic design course or photography course who are learning to manipulate photographs using editing software.Students could practice editing photos that they would not have means of taking, perhaps because of limited resources or their location.

Stock.Xchng is a free top-level domain stock photo site from Hungary. The site allows images to be uploaded and shared among members free from copyright and royalties. It is appropriate for educational use in middle and high schools for students and teachers creating various forms of digital products. Some contributors require that they be notified upon use of their images. These individuals may not ask for compensation but merely want to build reference lists of where their images were used. The site requires an active email account to register and activate an account for downloads.

In completing a work-related project, I found some great sites that assist educators in locating open educational resources. The Orange Grove Digital Repository is one of those resources. If you have not used it before, it is a repository of instructional resources. It can be integrated with a Learning Management System and educators can import resources directly from a teacher's LMS. The collection of resources consists of open textbooks and open courseware. There are resources for higher education and K -12, both of which contain categories that are easy to navigate. Among the available content: videos, presentations, audio, spreadsheets, syllabi, assessments, and images.

Cepolina offers free photos from Europe, America, India and China. The site offers over 1400 categories to choose from. The photos available can be used for any grade level in any subject. The site is very easy to navigate and offers very detailed descriptions of photo categories.  I think any educator would enjoy the international collection of photos and finding ways to incorporate them into class lessons.  

Stock Footage for Free is a video clip repository of royalty-free video clips that can be used in both personal and commercial video productions. The clips are broadcast quality sponsored by Footage Firm and were create for the sole purpose of free use. The site is appropriate for all grade levels and teachers to create and enhance various educational lessons. A free site registration of a username, password, and working email is required to activate the account.

The clips are preview-able prior to download either through an embedded YouTube or Flash player. There are general categories that can be browsed to aid in selecting a video clip for use.

Freepik is a search engine for free photos, vectors, illustrations, and PSD files to download. Videos are available to download for a fee. The images are linked to original hosting website. The site host millions of pictures and the content is appropriate for students of all ages to use. During my preview of the website I notice images appropriate to use in social studies, science and other content area. The images are camera generated and animated. I do not foresee any problems in using the site because the content is filtered and is safe for young children to browse.
