Lab 24/7 - Frankenstein Meets Facebook In Brooklyn - 1 views

  •
Hi Diigo. I actually started this group as a kind of "click and mortar" collaboration concept. I'd love feedback from you guys in the collaboration group. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Lab 24/7 is an NYC-based community of idea people, collaborating to bring mad ideas to life. Lab experiments can come in all shapes and sizes ... art, food, writing, music, hacking, video gaming, gardening, business, nuclear fusion, whatever... The point is - if you have an idea for an event, project, business, etc...start or join a group and make it explode. The Lab is not only online, but has a physical space is the cellar of an old brooklyn brownstone where co-conspirators can meet, show off their projects or just get crazy.

Drupal - Project Management Module - 0 views

  • 1) There are lots of stuff that overlaps with other content management issues, so it would be better if I didn't have to use a seperate system for project management 2) These systems also seem to be very modular, and I have noticed that a few components that would be required for this type of site somewhat exist for Drupal already, but nothing to tie a bunch of it together.

Microsoft - The Power of Unified - 0 views

  • Imagine the complexities of modern communications condensed into a seamless experience with one address book, one voice mail, and one login across every mode of communication. That's what Microsoft is doing. We're combining e-mail, IM, voice, and video into a single, intuitive system built around people, not technology. And we're building it all into the Microsoft Office system the world knows and trusts. Companies will replace conflicting systems with a single, unified communications platform that leverages their existing data and telecommunications infrastructure. IT departments will deliver more flexible, more secure communications, with simplified infrastructure that streamlines management and reduces total cost of ownership. People-centric, integrated, secure communications that's the promise of Microsoft's vision for unified communications.
