Thanks for sharing this! I love that little mini documentary that was on here- I learned the founders of Edmodo were school districtIT guys whose job it was to block sites for their school districts! At night in the basement, they came up with a way to have a secure social learning site so teachers and students didn't have to surrender how they learned at the schoolhouse doors.

These are strategies that have been researched and proven to provide results in the classroom. There are a lot of 21st century skills being applied here.

Great website to create a digital timeline.

tildee is a site that allows users to create step-by-step tutorials that may include images, videos, maps, and photos. No sign up is required, so both students and teachers could create tutorials. I plan to use this site to create directions for students and teachers to access for technology assistance.

Assessing credibility of links found in searches... How well do our students do this?

Free access to lesson plans, blog, resources, graphic organizers, collaborate with other educators using brainpop, interactive whiteboard resources, etc.  You can also request an embed code to embed their feature movie right into your wiki!!  

I am considering using this for my classroom to do begin a flipped classroom experience...my students can share files, make comments, complete assignments and upload them.  My parents can receive group texts, emails, share a calendar, participate in an online conference, and participate in virtual meetings.  

Five good reasons to teach blogging.

This is a cool resource to create tag clouds (wordles) of your Twitter content, website, blog, etc.
