Looking for something similar for Keynote ;-) ...

"I'm delivering the opening keynote for Edinburgh University's IT Futures Conference today and was asked to deliver an expanded version of the work I've been doing on the physical spaces of learning, and how they transgress virtual learning spaces, too. The theme of the conference is fascinating, and a conversation I'd like to see happening more regularly in more schools: It will look at both the staff and student perspective of what the working space is, and is becoming. Where does technology fit in, and how do we work and study in this increasingly mobile world?"

Penn State Symposium for Teaching and Learning with Technology 2009 Thank you for joining us at the 2009 TLT Symposium Once again, we had a record number of participants at the 2009 Symposium for Teaching and Learning with Technology. Nearly 400 faculty, staff, and students came out to spend a Saturday discussing the ways that technology can be used to enrich teaching, learning, and research. "Howard Rheingold There are a lot of voices talking about social media today, but Howard Rheingold defined the field before it existed. A noted author and commentator, Rheingold has a proven record of accurate technology and social forecasting, over two decades of syndicated columns, best-selling books, and pioneering online enterprises. His latest research and forthcoming book focuses on 21st century literacies -- how individuals and organizations learn to use digital media effectively and credibly. He coined the term "virtual community" in 1987 An acknowledged authority on the marriage of mobile phone, PC, and wireless internet, Rheingold's previous work reveals how this convergence has changed the way we meet, mate, entertain, govern, and conduct business. His book Smart Mobs, named one of the Big Ideas books of 2002 by The New York Times, chronicles the new forms of collective action and cooperation made possible by mobile communications, pervasive computing, and the Internet. The site is not exactly self explanatory, but you need to click on the appropriate date on the calendar on the right hand side of the screen to access the recordings. The conference dates were the 8th, 9th and 10th of September.

"When having to get up in front of a group to present, it's always important to remember, know and master the basics of what makes a presentation great (those include structure, knowing your content, making eye contact, hand gestures, etc...). There is no doubt about it, the big things that will take a presentation from good to great are critical at every level in your professional development. While you're at it, it's also important to remember the little things that make even bigger differences. Sometimes fixing up and focusing on a few of the little things can also take your presentations to the next level."
