The plug at R501 doesn't have anything plugged into it, yet there is a red and green wire just hanging off to the left. What is this for and do I need to hook it back up? Update: Turns out this is for degausing the monitor. I will hook it back up when I restore the game.

Quantum front bottom art: left pyramid vs right pyramid According to a Playmeter magazine showing the promo for Quantum, the pyramid is on the right, but collectors have games where the pyramid is on the left. An issue of Atari Age also shows the pyramid on the right, leading me to believe left pyramid machines are a later version. Resource: Playmeter, Atari Age.

ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!+1 . I got all new caps, some slightly larger since the exact size wasn't available, and I figured it'd help with the ripple... well, still same ripple . I've got ~75mV on the 12V line, ~45mV on the -5V line, but almost nothing on the +5V line. Any ideas what else besides caps could cause this? I swapped the rectifier diodes from another because I thought maybe they were old and letting some of the negative voltage through, pulling down the voltage, but that didn't make a difference (unless the other diodes were bad, but I've never heard that being a problem w/ these boards, so I doubt it).
