A fake radio/video show created for ISTE2010 by Punya Mishra with Matt Koehler (and a bunch of other people who are thanked in the video). We were asked to create a video for ISTE, a conference that neither of us (Punya or Matt) could attend. Our goal was to create an engaging 15 minute video that would convey our ideas about technology integration in teaching, specifically the TPACK framework. The entire thing (including the two Mastercard & UPS commercials) was scripted, shot and edited over 4 days.

Nekeyma Martin helped her fifth grade music students make a video about life in a classroom which could be anywhere in America, it just happened to be in Florida. Its purpose was to describe what happens when failure hurts then leads to motivation about one's self.The technology is multimedia with uploading to the Web vi YouTube. It is one study. The use of rap and strategies are used for inspiration. The design is experience and personal opinion.The results appear to be uplifting for working hard and staying in school. The recording was good and had a good premise. This could be used to show grade school students what could be done in video and audio production.

This is a 20 minute video and was worth every second. o Look at time index 5:45 for a discussion of biomolecular interactions o Look at time index 8:15 for an AMAZING visual animation of the Pythagorean Theorem. o Look at time index 9:35 for 6 year olds discovering 1st and 2nd order discrete differential equations. o Look at time index 12:20 to see how the discrete diff. eq. transform into visual concepts for velocity and acceleration. o Look at time index 15:00 for more acceleration demonstrations.

Welcome to the Learn Instructional Technology (LIT) website! The site is organized like a digital textbook, but instead of chapters it contains modules. The overall objective of the modules is to provide you with an interactive learning experience for instructional technology. The modules are full of a variety of types of resources including text, images, and video tutorials; all centered around exposing you to the variety of instructional technologies available today and increasing your technology literacy. Ms. Strawser of Elda Elementary hosts this beginner music teacher blog. This is written for the parents and students of her school and new general music teachers. She keeps a pictorial and video library of her students' performances and what they are doing in the media lab using music learning software. There is a list of her favorite music sites on the left side, including an Elda music podcast.

Simple Google video on what a web browser is.  I find parents and some students are often confused when I mention "chrome" or "firefox".  Makes a great point that your web browser is the most important piece of software on your computer. 

Part of my World Studies curriculum is to cover current events in the classroom. CNN Student news is a great resource--daily 10 minute videos (discussion questions & newsquiz provided!)
