I cannot know Jesus through another person's acquaintance with him. No, I must know him myself; I must know him on my own account. 

Only as transformation (i.e., sanctification) takes place can we start to prove (know with certainty) the will of God. Without transformation/sanctification we cannot know God's will. And so we stumble, taking uncertain steps in life: never quite sure what we are about, or what to do or where to go and how to get there. We have the Light but not the Sight.

We don't always have to know where the road leads as long as we know it is the right road. While we are "in the way" our Lord has commissioned us to go we must have the faith to take that first step and then, one step at a time, expect our Lord to show us His will about the next step.

It is the love we share (by our actions, not just words!) that makes people believe we are sincere. It is how much we sacrifice for each other that opens the door for the gospel message. It is by bearing each other's burdens that we fulfill the Law of Christ.

One of the most encouraging and comforting things that a Christian needs to realise and constantly remember-particularly when he's going through times of trouble, trials and tribulations-is that our Heavenly Father LOVES us, and is in absolute and total control of our lives!-And that NOTHING can happen to us without HIS will or HIS permission! So even if WE don't always understand exactly why we're going through such trials, GOD knows what He's doing! He knows all the purposes and reasons behind every test, trial, affliction etc.

God's basic health laws for us are simple: Proper diet, proper rest, proper exercise and right living are the key to a happy and healthy life! The Lord created us and He knows what's best for us. He's like a father to us and He wants us to be happy and healthy. Of course, one of the greatest factors in maintaining good health is faith.-To know that God loves you and cares for you and is going to take care of you no matter what.

If we, by faith, accept the God described in the Bible, then we know that nothing can stop God's overarching will for and in this world. Therefore, every circumstance of life must work together to execute God's plans. Even the evil that men choose to do cannot escape His inexorable (unstoppable) will from being accomplished. It is only with this understanding that we can have hope rather than despair in the various tragedies, big and small, that beset our lives.

So as we go about our lives, making decisions about finances, health, relationships, employment, education and family (to name a few) let us call on our God, let us seek His face, let us search out His will. Life is a struggle and we can't see all the dangers ahead; it is difficult to know what choices to make. Truly, we have no hope of surviving on our own. But God is faithful: if we live by faith He will make our feet like hinds' feet so that our steps are assured and we can escape to safety. If we trust in God, He will make our feet surefooted so that we can escape the wiles of the devil.

God's wisdom and knowledge are infinite; the decisions of Almighty God cannot be rationalized by mere man. Who knows enough to argue with God? Who is wise enough to give God counsel?
