I do not know much about music in Chinese culture except:
-music has played a large role in China's history
-there are many different styles of Chinese music based on the region in China and the time period
-music is used in festivals for entertainment
-also used in ceremonies and in worshipping
-much of China's current popular music is controversial because it has been influenced by the West

For the presentation I think we should have clips on the different genres of Chinese music and discuss the different types of instruments used in Chinese music.

For our presentation we have created 13 slides for our power point that include different aspects of Chinese music, pictures and video clips. The slides present information on:
-Yin and Yang
-History
-General characteristics
-Eight Sounds of Chinese Music
-Instruments (including pictures of traditional instruments)
-Video Clips of Chinese instruments, orchestras and current popular songs
-Discussion Questions
