Already have bookmarks for CFF? - 69 views

I'm having some issues with this, but I know you can share your existing CFF bookmarks to the group by:
1) going to My Bookmarks
2) adding the tag you use for CFF bookmarks in the box
3) clicking the checkmark at the top to select them all
4) click Share to and choose the CFF Coach group.
I get a server busy message and I'm wondering if it's because I have a lot of bookmarks to share to the group? I was able to share the first 99 to a list with no problem but am not able to get them to the group which is frustrating. Also it seems you can't do them ALL at once - it's one page at a time.
Imagine, though, if we get this to work out then the links from the listserv will be here already. I love when I go to bookmark a site and it's already done!
Importing Delicious tags - 57 views

If you're new to Diigo and nervous about switching from your well built del.icio.us account, don't be! You can import your bookmarks from del.icio.us to Diigo AND you when you bookmark things in Diigo - you can send them to your del.icio.us account AUTOMATICALLY :)
Click your login name in the upper right and choose Tools. From that screen, there is an import bookmarks link on the left.
Also on the left is the link to set your Diigo bookmarks to feed right to del.icio.us.
Always happy to help out, so let us know if you have problems.

Tag Dictionary - 14 views
-
I'm looking to have a Coach group get started here, but want to be sure that the tags don't get too out of control. Under the manage Group area we can set up a tag dictionary to keep it more consistent. Let's work together to come up with some easy to use (but not too many) tagging method. Like best_practices, podcasting, video and then if they're web2.0 tools, we can add on _w2 at the end. Like podcasting_w2. When you save to group, the tag dictionary appears for the user to make tag choices.

It's not necessary to all use the same tags because you want the tags to be meaningful for yourself. However, not including any tags makes it hard to group and search for bookmarks.
Also, if your on a webpage and about to bookmark it, it's nice to select some descriptive text on the page first. That way when you save the bookmark, the selected text will be added to the saved bookmark.
