The National Repository of Online Courses (NROC) is a growing library of high-quality online course content to support high school, advanced placement and higher education studies.

The Wisconsin Online Resource Center is a digital library of Web-based learning resources called "learning objects." The digital library of objects has been developed primarily by faculty from the Wisconsin Technical College System (WTCS) and produced by multimedia technicians who create the learning objects for the online environment. At present, 409 WTCS faculty members have authored learning objects. The Wisc-Online digital library contains 2542 objects that are accessible to all WTCS faculty at no cost and with copyright clearance for use in any WTCS classroom or online application. Other colleges, universities, and consortia from throughout the United States and around the world use the library with permission. Current use of the learning object repository exceeds 20,000 hits per day. Learning objects are designed and developed by a team of instructional designers, editors, technicians, and student interns.

The Social Media Classroom (we'll call it SMC) includes a free and open-source (Drupal-based) web service that provides teachers and learners with an integrated set of social media that each course can use for its own purposes-integrated forum, blog, comment, wiki, chat, social bookmarking, RSS, microblogging, widgets , and video commenting are the first set of tools. The Classroom also includes curricular material: syllabi, lesson plans, resource repositories, screencasts and videos. The Collaboratory (or Colab), is what we call just the web service part of it. Educators are encouraged to use the Colab and SMB materials freely, and we host your Colab communities if you don't want to install your own.

ARTstor is a non-profit initiative, founded by The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, with a mission to use digital technology to enhance scholarship, teaching, and learning in the arts and associated fields. ARTstor consists of: A repository of hundreds of thousands of digital images and related data; The tools to actively use those images; and A restricted-usage environment that seeks to balance the rights of content providers with the needs and interests of content users.

ASSISTments is a free web-based platform that allows teachers to write individual ASSISTments (composed of questions and associated hints, solutions, web-based videos, etc.). The word "ASSISTment" blends tutoring "assistance" with "assessment" reporting to teachers. It supports all subjects (i.e.,Math, English etc.) and due to federal grants, has a huge repository of math content. ASSISTments is not just a math tutoring system. Its an "eco-system" of researcher, schools, parents, funders, and state partners, working together to help students. Each of the partners get something out of it, and each contributes something.
