Qualcomm had recently released their Augmented Reality Software Development Kit (SDK) for iOS. The SDK had originally been available for Android but Qualcomm had promised its release in July for iOS. The SDK should make it easier for developers to integrate virtual content with real content such as images captured by cameras found on many portable devices.

Users have content across many Google properties: YouTube, Picasa Web Albums, Google Docs, and more. Now we have a common interface for your users to select Google content. The Google Picker API provides a familiar-looking dialog box that’s easy for you to integrate into your apps. Your users can quickly browse their own content without ever leaving your page or app.

Using Bboogle, course instructors provide links within their CMS course sites to content they create in the @u environment. Google Docs - Share documents including spreadsheets, presentation slides, Google forms, and other file types, with students. Although AR is not new, it is still in infancy especially applying in education.  As an educator, I think AR has great potentials in teaching and learning.
