This is a good intro video to pure data. Shows you the process of making a sound and connecting objects. Does not provide much background as to what objects are, what objects are available, or how to when to use different objects, but it is a good way to see PD in action
This is an in-depth tutorial on the Pure Data software program. It is a completely text and image tutorial and is organized much like a textbook. Will take significant time to go through, but if you have little understanding of what PD is, this is a good place to consult
This video is a great demonstration of the OSC protocol using the Pure Data software and the Osculator software on Macintosh. Shows an example of how to make a Wiimote and WiiDJ controller function with a mac and how to use those devices to control Pure Data.
This tutorial is relatively technical, but gives a good introduction of what the OSC protocol is capable of.
This video shows how the OSC protocol can be used to use the TouchOSC iPad app to control and manipulate Logic 9 Pro/Express. Video is 3:19 in length and shows excellent examples of the power of the OSC protocol, but does not provide a basic tutorial as to how to set it up.
