I don't remember exactly when I joined the Flip Share group on Edmodo, but active membership has definitely made a tremendous impact on my teaching. Countless educator experiences with "flipping the classroom" are exchanged, through links to blog posts and resources, on the Flip Share group page.

Share what you make with the world. I have only explored this site a bit, but it looks like a kids paradise. Rather like pinterest, kids can post projects they've made in photo or short video clip format. Viewers can then give them stickers to rate them. Lots of possibilities on a rainy day at home.

I had never seen this app. It showed up on my reader, and I had to take a look. It works like Free Rice. Planting and caring for trees leads to real trees being planted to reforest several areas in the world. Check it out.
