"NASA's Gravity Recovery And Interior Laboratory (GRAIL) program (Ebb and Flow), which is creating a high resolution map of the moon's gravitational field, has also captured footage from the dark side of the moon as part of the MoonKAM (Moon Knowledge Acquired by Middle school students) program. MoonKAM will allow US students to study different parts of the lunar surface using imagery from the Ebb and Flow satellites. "

Call for Experiments: Student Spaceflight Experiments Program (SSEP) Mission #3 to ISS The National Center for Earth and Space Science Education, in partnership with NanoRacks, invites school districts across the U.S. to participate in the SSEP program. An 8-week competition in your school or district, held Fall 2012, will allow grades 5-12 students to engage in real scientific research of their own design. The selected submissions from across the country will then be flown on each community's previously reserved mini-lab slot on ISS.

A group of 12 teenagers from all across the Portland/Vancouver area have teamed up to build an airplane. It's a one of a kind program developed by local aviation enthusiasts who are now passing on what they know to a new generation. Vancouver's Mountain View High School. For six hours every Saturday, 12 local teens get to build an airplane with the help of dedicated mentors who are all volunteering their time to help in the effort. Scott McDaniels helped create the teen flight program.

first real flight experience in this extensive introduction to the aviation industry. Participants receive ground training in our campus facilities, fly in our new C-172 Simulator, and pilot a C-172S aircraft. All flight training is conducted by certified university flight instructors. Participants in this program must be U.S. citizens ages 14-18.
