They have even made up their own Build A Plane t-shirts with a list of local sponsors who are making the project happen. Their teacher who was the spine of the project left and the school has been looking for someone that knows what they're doing to take over. Guess who's taking the job? From nearby Elmendorf Air Force Base (Anchorage), the United States Air Force is sending the 3rd Equipment Maintenance Squadron to partner with the kids to finish the airplane.
