    Routes to becoming an MCMI


    MCMI refers to the membership standards in the professional Body- The Chartered Management Institute in the UK. CMI offers two paths for a manager to become a member.

    This route is for experienced managers who possess a CMI level 5 or above qualifications. A manager with a CMI level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership can apply to become an MCMI through this route. After an assessment of the candidate's submitted work that demonstrates the skills and knowledge, the manager can become an MCMI.


    If a candidate does not possess a Level 7 Diploma or Certificate in Strategic Management and Leadership, then he or she can approach an online course provider such as the College of Contract Management to obtain the qualifications required to pass the MCMI application.
