"Friends of Jeremy Friedrich, 4, who remains in critical condition after becoming entangled in a jump rope, have planned a "Karaoke for a Cause" benefit at 7 p.m. on Jan. 9 at the Fullerton Elks Lodge. The $50 ticket will include food, a karaoke disc jockey and prizes awarded throughout the night. The net proceeds will go to the Friedrich family to help pay for medical expenses."
