When our body doesn't get enough oxygen, we can become tired and lethargic. We may have difficulty breathing and moving. If the problem is severe enough, we can become dizzy or lose consciousness, and for extreme cases it can lead to death.

Our body will be lethargic because it would not be able to make enough energy. When this continues, it may even lead to death.

It you lack oxygen, the cells in our body would not be supplied with oxygen, this is called Hypoxia. Which means they will get destroyed. This happens within 5~6 minutes after you lack oxygen. When this happens to the brain, your brain cells will get destroyed, causing damages to your brain. After all the brain is the most important part of our body and if all of the brain cells get destroyed eventually we will die.
