A Believer becomes new creation at the point of salvation, but that new man does not automatically have control over the old, but still present, sin-nature. Sanctification is the process of putting to death that old sin nature so that Christ can reign in us… a Believer with God's Word incorporated his/her heart is Word-driven and Spiritually centered, free from the power of sin.

Our clothing consists of hearts that are tender and filled with compassion displaying mercy; human-kindness that overflows to meet the needs of others; a humble preference to put others first; a meek, spirit-controlled temperament; and the willingness to go the distance with others without complaint-these are the new clothes.

There are times when God wants to do a new thing in our lives.

This is a religious short story written by Alexis Sullivan. In this story a young woman lives an empty and incomplete life until she receives Christ and experiences a life-changing transformation and becomes a new person.

As Jesus sent His disciples out into a world that would be hostile to them, that would imprison them and beat them and kill them, what they needed to succeed wasn't a new car, or perfect teeth or a retirement plan. What they needed to live successfully (as God defines it) was The Comforter. 

The 10 Commandments, Sabbath days and feast, lambs and oxen, the cleansing of mildew . . . what does this all have to do with the Christian today? Are we merely New Testament people who consult the Old only for Bible trivia purposes?

What you have here is a basic outline of the nine eras of Old Testament Biblical history, a brief description of the Intertestamental period, and the two eras of New Testament history. Each era includes estimated dates and a list of Biblical books which provide accounts of that period.
