South Carolina Rates- South Carolina Home Loans South Carolina Rates Hello.This is Greg Tanner with Nations Lending. This is my very first podcast. I will tell you, this is probably going to be a short podcast, but it's definitely an important one. Unless you've been living under a rock, you know that South Carolina rates have been going up since the election. Unfortunately, they've gone up the most they've gone up in years. I don't see that that's going to be a trend that's going to stop any time soon. Hopefully, they're going to level off here very soon, but I don't know that we're going to see them go back down to record lows that they have been for the past few years.

I want to do this video, in part, because I received a call this morning from a defendant in North Carolina, actually not far from Wake Forest University, where I've done some speaking in the past. This defendant called after watching a video I filmed last year called 10 Ways to Get More Time in Prison and in that video I talked about if you don't accept responsibility, or disclose your substance abuse, or if you continue to spend really aggressively, if you owe restitution, if you don't engage in volunteer work, if you don't work openly with your lawyer, so I identified 10 things that I think could lead to a longer term in prison.
