The Sha-Narah award for excellence in literature about adolescent popularity seeks nominations for literature by and about high school students on the themes of popularity, acceptance, and rejection. These works of literature may be poetry, fiction, or non-fiction, and they should explore the emotional lives of teenagers as they negotiate their social networks in the school setting. The length of the work is not relevant to the selection committee, nor is the publication status.
