NATE -- the National Assistive Technology in Education Network -- brings together information from the many fields and disciplines that are involved in assistive technology services in educational settings. We provide that information in a cohesive, integrated manner, so that people from all disciplines can access it. We promote and encourage increased collaboration between people from different disciplines at the local team level and at the larger regional and national levels. Look for NATE meetings at national AT conferences:

Studies show that kids can grasp concepts quicker after using interactive projection systems. They enable kids to stay focused and enjoy lessons taught in the classroom. Kids also love playing games on interactive floors. Have you ever tried using a floor-based projection system in your classrooms? How did it work out?

Kevin Honeycutt's iPad site

Confusing interface, very cluttered. Art Snacks site might be useful but you have to join and give specific information before looking at the site to decide whether it would be beneficial - needs a preview. So, not a chance! You'll need to spend quite a bit of time and energy digging through the site. Parts are definitely valuable.

This is an awesome website! We are exploring assistive technology apps in my special education class and this will be very helpful! Thanks!
