This is a better video on how to play higher notes on trumpet. The teacher gives a similar method as the other video i posted, but goes more in depth and why you should do what he says. There isn't much left to the imagination, and he doesn't waste time going through the entire exercise. Instead he starts the exercise off so that the viewer knows what to do, then demonstrates the higher register so that the viewer has a good idea of what to aim at.
I don't want to say this tutorial complete horrible, but It isn't as informational as it could be. The teacher only gives a brief explanation of how to do what he is doing and shows a demonstration that is very drawn out.
This is a very good tutorial because it is at a very good learning pace. Also it is very detailed and I felt after watching the video I could demonstrate mixing using the DJ vestax spin. The persons voice was very clear and it was also personable as well and you can see the person was having fun making the video
This is a video tutorial on a short groove. I find this tutorial to be considered a bad one because the educator is in a costume which takes away from professionalism, the video quality is not the best, he does not show a slower break down of the groove he is playing, and there is no application as to where the groove would be played. It just demonstrates a quick groove for someone to randomly play and in my opinion seems a bit unprofessional for a tutorial video.
Not only is the person making the video unprofessional, but he doesn't seem to actually teach you how to play high notes; he just demonstrates and says what to do. He also gives some incorrect information, since nobody should try and cheat high notes, especially in the way he's saying to.
This video does a good job of explaining how to hold the tambourine, why we hold it that way, why we hit it with the meat of our hand, and he explains a typical rhythmic figure.
This tutorial demonstrates a great advanced exercise that works on your diddle control between a close and open stroke roll. This tutorial I find this tutorial important because it doesn't provide a basic 101 demonstration but is meant for marching percussionists who want to learn how to build their roll quality in a more advanced way.
This video doesn't do a great job of teaching the exercise. The drummer has a dull, unenthusiastic voice, and he doesn't explain how the exercise actually helps build your left hand.
