Ann, I didn't know that this existed on the rcan site. I will definitely be returning to it. If done with small faculty groups, I wonder if these these webinars can be used for Professional Development. (?)

I liked this approach. It is a pedagogical approach to analyzing complex texts with a technology layer.

A retired teacher, Bob Greenberg, has been going around the country over the last year interviewing some of the important thought leaders, as well as local teachers and students, about education topics.

The outline for the EdTech Challenge. It is a way for teachers to think about collaboration tools, content management systems, personal learning networks, formative response tools, open educational tools, and electronic portfolios.

Attached is a little "blurb" about Social Stories and how they can effectively teach children proper social behaviors. As we discussed in Friday's meeting, using these stories in the classroom may serve as an effective tool to teach students lessons on sharing, being polite, and interacting appropriately with one another.

Richard Lavoie is one of my favorite speakers.... Here is just a "taste" of his thoughts on motivating students.... I encourage you to watch more of his videos.
