I feel that the main focus of Diigo for the classroom is research. Using it to collect information. However, I feel that there are other things that it can be used for that include:

*online class discussions that the teacher begins
*critical thinking and evaluating online sources
    *accessing information anywhere
*bookmark information to find it easily later

Are we able to get accounts if we teach outside of the US?  I just tried to upgrade and it said that I had to check my email account.

I would love to know if there are similar things available. I love this idea of sharing resources and being able to easily access it. Here is a site where I found some benefits of a teacher account. http://help.diigo.com/teacher-account/faq *you can input an entire class at a time *the class is automatically put into a group *the student privacy settings are pre-set so that it is strictly student/teacher student/student interactions
