List of museums that have free admission

Below is a work in progress of every museum in the United States that offers free admission. If able, we've linked directly to the museum's website where the free admission policy is stated as well as noted where the museum is located; broken down by states, then cities. Also, you'll find a few commonly used acronyms throughout the list, but they're not too hard to understand!

Lesson Grade Level Chart Which lessons are appropriate for your students? All schools are probably teaching many of the information literacy skills found in this body of lessons. Usually, individual teachers will tackle the process of plugging the gaps in their curriculum when an issue or opportunity arises. A sixth grade teacher may see the need to review note taking, while a high school teacher needs to re-introduce Boolean operators and review Citing Sources. Eventually, schools and districts will attempt to make sure the skills covered in these lessons are integrated into the K-12 curriculum. As a teacher, you can begin by looking at the chart below to see which lessons are appropriate for the age and abilities of the students you teach.

Really awesome way to keep track of stuff. I use this to record serial numbers of software and even machines when having to put in a trouble ticket. I heart the iphone app not to mention it is multiplatform.

Mac OS X Lion includes an Auttomator action, named Text to EPUB File, that is designed to make it very easy to convert selected text or text documents into EPUB books, ideal for transferring to iPads and iPhones. Additionally, the created EPUB books can include images, MPEG audio, or MPEG video files.

Historical note - when the first Access to Network Resources came out in Arlington we were tasked with coming up with a list of DOs to put on a poster. You may have an old one hanging up somewhere. The Students Will... the only one we couldn't wordsmith was not operate a business. The others were put into the form of what we expected to the students to do.
