Clue into Climate: A Digital Media-Based Curriculum Unit on Climate Change was created with input from San Francisco Bay Area teachers and advisors. The curriculum unit is comprised of four content strands, each of which includes 5-7 media resources related to the strand topic. Each strand also contains a strand guide and assessment, a background article and 4-5 lesson plans that provide information and activities to support the use of the media with students. Additionally, the curriculum unit provides a student workbook and a climate education resource guide.

Could be well used in AP Enviro Scie's epidemic/health unit. Good use of math problems.

First introduced to me during my Environmental Education in Curriculum course, I've used a number of these lessons with great success. It's focus is on Place-Based learning activities. The lessons have been tested and developed in classrooms in urban areas, so they work! The books are in pdf and free! The goal is for students to "learn by doing."

Student teams work on environmental health problems based on real-life occurrences. This curriculum is for sale but they have several free activity samples that are worthwhile.
