      It is not surprising to see more jobs in health care being created since we Rubenstein talked briefly on the matter in the text. Due to the fact that the life expectancy is raising day by day, it comes with no doubt that we will continue to see more job growth in this field.

      In general, we are currently seeing more growth in the service sector than compared to the industry sector in the United States. This is most likely because of more and more people becoming further educated and aspiring to become white-collar workers as opposed to blue-collar.

      It's surprising to see job growth in the mining industry even though some companies continue to outsource b/c of the industry being bulk-reducing and a pattern of continued use of more technology in this field of work.

    1) This link leads to a comparison of percentage of people's view of their religion in their own life. It divides into very important, to somewhat important, to not too/not important at all, and so on. 2) I chose this graphic because it gives an idea to what a group of people truly feels about their own faith. Because all in all, I feel one is an actual Catholic, Protestant, Orthodox, Mormon, etc. only if they faithful towards their proclaimed faith. So this graphic helps give a good representation of how many "full time" adherents there are to a specific faith in the United states. 3) One task I would create would be to complete an alternate form of graph to represent the data. For example, a pie chart or bar graph.To add to it, maybe even research the same information, but for the whole world instead of just the United states if possible.

      Different languages (dialects) arise from the mixing of languages. If a language isnt present in a given area, it wont mix with the current language in that area.

      Prestige can cause separate languages because people of certain class interact with those of the same class, therefore it allows for certain dialects to form in different areas.

    In this map, it shows the top countries of immigrants. #1 is USA, which didn't really surprise me.... but the second was Russia, which puzzled me. Then I realized maybe the country looks more attractive to others now that the Soviet Union fell and Cominism with it. That may bring more people in, making it #2 in the world.

    The largest percentage of Polish are currently in Illinois. This may be due to the presence of the polish culture that these folks are attracted to, drawing them in. The second most is in New York. This is most likely due to the fact that many Polish migrate through NY and as Ravenstein says that many people settle near their entry and the farther you leave that point the less there are (paraphrased to what he said.)
