The eye witness admitted to sharing a bottle of vodka with the girl. If she allowed herself to get so sloppy drunk, especially at the age of 16, then how are people suppose to feel bad for her? I mean i'm not saying that getting "raped" is ever okay but I'm sure the boys were impaired as well and neither parties really knew what was going on. Another thing I would like to point out is, how does this girl just happen to show up at MULTIPLE parties with these guys?

If the girl has party with the boys before, and probably then, got stupid drunk, then what would urge the oys to "take advantage" of her this time, as opposed to all the other times? It does not make sense. Plus, she is only sixteen, so it is more her fault that she even allowed herself to go to parties, knowing everything that could, or may happen.

I actually read another article about this somewhere (wish I had saved it now.) In the article I read a law professor or a lawyer or someone like that said that it isn't things manufactured overseas but things originally bought overseas. The example used in the article I read was if you bought an iPod in China because it was cheaper then tried to sell it here for a profit then the "first sale" doctrine doesn't protect you. However, if you buy the iPod here in the United States, even if it was made in China, then you'd be protected. Not sure how accurate/unbiased the article I read was as I don't remember who it was by but I do think that this article sounds a little biased and like they are trying to push two sperate issues together ("first sale" and the controversial digital licences issue). Just my take though.

I think that is crazy, why people think that some people would choose to be tortured everyday is beyond me. I mean come on. I think this issue should just resolve like now, yes I understand that in the bible it says that homosexuality is a sin. But God made you who you are. People have to understand that, obviously there is a plan, it just hasn't showed itself to everyone yet. Being Homosexual is a life, if a Heterosexual stepped into a Homosexual's life for one day they would understand that they go through so much crap constantly. my whole view on this is that it is ridiculous. gay people should get their rights already.

In all reality..... If Religion is your reason to say, "Being gay is not okay," then you really need to know your history. First, Christmas, if I recall the documentary that I watched not to long ago correctly, was a time for grown men to beat there wives, and go out and have "gay sex" with each other? So, if you denounce gay marriage because of Catholicism, or Christianity, you just denounced Christmas. Second, for those of you who are Hindustan, you have a celebrated holiday that is for 2 guys, and 1 girl, to "get it on." It's called Karma Sutra. Yeah, religion should not be allowed to interfere in America's choice to permit/deny gay marriage, and not just for those 2 reasons. (Those reasons being that the religions allow it themselves, yet say it is not okay.) Let's just read out constitution. We've all heard, "Freedom of Religion," before, right? Well, right there, religion should not be allowed to found a reason as to deny gay relationships. To add, let us look at the Declaration of Independence, "Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness." Pursuit of happiness includes marriage correct? If so, define marriage Religion definition: The formal union of a man and a woman, typically recognized by law, by which they become husband and wife. Actual definition: Marriage is a social union or legal contract between people called spouses that creates kinship. Just by out constitutional freedoms, and foundations, most of it points in the direction of gay marriage should be legal, which Jenny, is why I agree with you. As for being gay being something you can fix, don't think so. I don't see people changing there skin color. (Except Micheal Jackson, but we all still know that he was not as light-toned as that.) Do you see people choosing there eye color? Either that is one expensive (or failed) surgery, or it does not happen. In my opinion people need to get over the whole 9/11 attack. Sure it was a big deal, but the culprits have been found and executed. This whole thing with Saudi Arabia being involved is absolutely ludicrous.

I agree with Obama that those people should not have the right to sue Saudi Arabis because its not all those peoples fault.

The death penalty scares me, I have watched movies where they kill people this way and it is cruel. I don't think anyone should be put to death if they are in prison for a crime I think they should do their time. They should sit and rot in prison for the rest of their life, but they are in prison for killing, etc...and then we do the same to them, I don't get it.

I think we need stay out of overseas activities like this. It doesn't matter if we did everything legally, it's still wrong.

i dont think anyone should go on death row i think they should give them a life sentence and be kept alive that way they feel guilty later on about what they've done and little by little they'll start going crazy and eventually try suicide because they wont want to be locked up forever but the cops wont let them hurt themselves so then they'll be getting even more crazy go psycho probably.....its like self torture for them:)

i think that soon every state in america will probably jump on the train of legalizing marijuana but i think with the legalization of weed will help with getting us out of debt but for people who smoke weed its going to be taxed very highly so if your going to try to go to dispensaries it will most likely cost you alot more than it would on the streets

If the girls life was in danger or the officers I would see why he would use a tazer but other wise he should of used a different approach.

She was endangering herself and the officer, he used the least harmful weapon he had. He saved that girls life he should not be getting sued. Obviously the parents are blind to their own kids problems, that's what they should be focusing on.

It's kind of sad that he was charged with possessing a gun although there was no evidence. Also because there was no way to not have been accused.

I think that it's wrong to say that women should have more right to an abortion if they had been raped or wouldn't be financially stable. Women should also be able to have as many abortions as they want, and it shouldn't be limited. Also I'm wondering what limit there is? And why you think that there should be one if that's what you meant. It is the womans choice, and it's her life and she can do with it as she pleases, so she doesn't have to have a "good reason" or have others think that it is okay if she has one.

Women have a right to their own body and abortion is exercising that right. Wanting an abortion is the only reason a woman needs in order to get one. Being raped or a victim of incest are seen as more understandable reasons to get an abortion but those are not the only reasons that should be seen as acceptable. All women have a right to their bodies and a right to decide what they want to do with their bodies.

Obama is announcing "executive orders" which have the same power as a law, but there are many Republicans who believed that the President should not be able to take actions in this way without getting a law passed through Congress. What do you think?

I believe that this might be a good safety measure but it takes our freedoms further away.

This is a step in the right direction for proper gun regulation but I believe that the president of the United States shouldn't be able to enact this as a law without congress because if he can that is too much power for one person.

I don't agree with the comment that Trump made about women or the doctors getting punished for having/ preforming an abortion. I am pro choice and believe it is the woman's decision weather she wants to have an abortion or not and she should not have to be held legally accountable for making her own healthcare decisions and the doctors should not be held legally accountable for providing the requested healthcare.

This is scary because he is saying that the women who get abortions or preform abortions should get punished. Which I don't believe is right at all.
