A Mississippi man has made a brief court appearance on a charge that he made a deadly poison that was sent in letters to President Barack Obama and others.

(CNN) -- With just a few clicks of a mouse, kids as young as 12 can have free condoms delivered to their doors in California. And that idea is garnering mixed reactions from Californians.

i dont think they should be able to but yes i do belive that they do need to learn about pertection ... but no they dont need them

I agree with Hannah, they should not be getting condoms at 12 that is way too young to even be thinking about doing that kind of stuff. But I also agree with Spencer, they should be taught about protection that way when the time comes MANY years later, they know what the right thing to do is.

Besides being a popular contraceptive, it control many different hormones in a woman's body. It's used to cure things like ovarian cysts, and irregular periods. It can relieve those pesky cramps that you get on your period, or just at random points of the month. It will clear your acne, and even help prevent cancers. And, the hormones being consumed by taking the pill, can balance our emotions, possibly making us more tolerance of ignorance towards women's health. The church aspect of this story is, in my opinion, ridiculous. Them refusing to cover a product that would help their employees be healthier, prettier, nicer, and more likely to remain cancer free, is unreasonable. Just because the typical use is frowned upon by their religions, doesn't mean it's right to make their employees spend their hard earned money on measures to maintain a healthy body, that could be covered by their companies insurance.

I don't see why taking measures to prevent a pregnancy is so bad. People are always saying that teenagers are getting pregnant at a young age when the truth is, maybe these girls can't afford it. No, they should not be having sex so young but sometimes you have to face the fact that girls are having sex at a young age and instead of turning a blind eye, they should take measures to prevent the pregnancy from happening. Just like Kirsten said, it does more than just preventing pregnancies. Some girls need it and can't afford it.

Washington (CNN) - House Speaker John Boehner told a group of Republicans the day after President Barack Obama's inaugural ceremony that the president's focus was to "annihilate the Republican Party." In remarks to Republicans attending a closed luncheon sponsored by the Ripon Society, Boehner pointed to the president's speech as evidence Obama recognizes he can't achieve his agenda because of the GOP-led House of Representatives.

The U.S. military is ending its policy of excluding women from combat and will open combat jobs and direct combat units to female troops, CNN has learned. Multiple officials confirm to CNN that Defense Secretary Leon Panetta will make the announcement tomorrow and notify Congress of the planned change in policy.

I honestly really like this decision. The rights of individual people haven't changed at all. Nontraditional publishers are just granted the same protections as traditional publishers, and this is an important and necessary decision considering the huge rise in popularity of nontraditional publishers. Beth Weier's lawyer said that ASI [the publisher] shouldn't qualify for protection because it "simply did cover art and bound the book and put it on a website." However, e-publishing is now an important part of the publishing industry, and if we accept his reasoning NO publishers qualify for protection, because none of them write the material they publish.

I believe gun makers are just doing what will get them the most amount of profit, since there are no laws requiring them to make weapons safer, easier to match, or track they see no point in helping, since it would cost more money to fulfill these requests.

The reason it failed is because he is not using common sense, you cant just expect someone to do something you tell them too. No they need to think about the fact and solve the issue, like school shootings and gangs in the cities thinking they can run the place, because they are cool no. You need to use mind and use it wisely and if that doesn't work than i would suggest using brute force like getting the people that are paid to solve these problems like going in to the main source of violence which would be the gang shootings and take them into custody and put them behind bars for a long time which might be the only solution he has to offer who knows.

I think it would be interesting to see her run for President in 2016. Only issue I foresee is that people will target her because of Bill Clinton.

Conservative Justice Antonin Scalia routinely pretends that his approach to the law is merely to follow the clear language of the Constitution, and anyone who does not reach the same conclusions he does must be doing it wrong.

Just.... Wow.... How can someone find the constitution so easy? Either, he has spoken to the dead and found out what the founding fathers believe on gay marriage, or he is inserting his own beliefs into this.

I love this article. It points out exactly what I've been trying to tell people. Romney never fully answers the question. He has good ideas but never can tell us what will happen and how he will actually do it!

This is ridiculous. I think we should set a cap on how much money can be spent running for office, since (in my opinion) a lot of the money that goes into campaigns is wasted. My family has actually received multiple DVDs in the mail from a few different political parties (mostly Republican and Tea Party, I believe). When campaigning gets to the point where parties are paying for movies to be produced - one of them was about how Obama is a Communist - and paying for what is presumably thousands of DVDs to be mailed, something needs to be changed.

It goes to show how close of an election this is. I mean people are very in depth on who are next leader should be if they raised this much money!
