    Early 80s was Learn Alaska dominated, at least in K12, until a few of us at UAS started using the UACN to drive connectivity to K12 teachers

    Bill Bramble was lead DEED administrator of Learn Alaska; Paul Berg was head of the evolving ed tech movement. As I recall Bill went to Florida in the early 1980s; Learn Alaska came under fire for being real time rather than allowing teachers to record material and use it as doing so suited their schedules; my understanding was that it was set up so teachers could record and use the tapes when it suited their schedules, but there were problems with the recording systems... all a bit fuzzy
