Everyone in this group should use stumble upon to find resources for this group. You can narrow your stumbles to only one subject. I have mine set only to graphic design. Some sweet links here despite the name (AnimeKandi.org...) I went through a couple of the illustration links and was pleased. I didn't find any anime. This is worth exploring.

This website has a variety of different artists and musicians. The website creators will make a page for an artist if they like you work. I am happy to say that I was featured on the site as "Freshalex"  This is a good site if you want to get some more exposure, and if you like art in general.

The challenge: create a high-res, jaw-dropping piece of digital art, based on the theme "Infinite Future Chaos". We're giving away a stunning 30-inch Apple Cinema Display.
It's bloody huge, and has beautiful color reproduction. Photoshop never looked so good. WTF is Infinite Future Chaos?", we hear you ask. Fair question. To be honest, we don't really know what it means. It's possibly something to do with jetpacks... or perhaps trees taking over the city... or trees wearing jetpacks taking over the city with lasoos. Only time will tell. The winners of the 30" Apple Cinema Display and the RedBubble voucher, plus four runners-up, will have their work published in the November issue of Photoshop Creative. Humble Voice // GEUCLIDE - 0 views

Honestly, I'm not a guy into overmuch, though I alaways admire the idea and labour of creating art. As for geuclide's works, THANKS GOD he knows the boundary and jumps out of the stereotypes skillfully and stylishly. I can pull out a whole package of adjectives to describe his works, one of them is MARVELOUS. As you can see on the left, his abstract appear like an abstract landscape painting, with soft, appealing color schemes, plenty of space around and a bit of darker doodle that brings extra moves and delightful surprise to the image, which basically makes me wanna pick up the phone immediately and ask him how much he would like to sell it. :O) If you can' agree my viewpoint more, go check out his humblevoice gallery, for he has lots of things to feast your hungry eyes.

Jean-Félix | terminus1525.ca - 0 views

I love stumbing upon something beyond my expectation. Today I checked out my account on terminus1525.ca, found a name listed under Recent Visitors, and I can't help but clicked on the link. That's when I was drawn to the abyss of imagination of Jean-Félix. This artist created something that is soft, solid, organic, futurist and dynamic. The way he plays with composition and colors are really incredible for a guy who is only 26. Do pay attention to his details - that's how you feel the power of his ART.

VirtueMart: Your free e-commerce solution. - Welcome... - 0 views

  •
Thinking about starting a webshop so you can sell your lovely pictures or magnifient paintings? I guess we are all in the same boat. My first choice would be Shopify (just look at how many ppl have saved it on del.icio.us!), but for a Trial/Free account, very very sadly, you take up to 5 oders, w/o SSL security or domain name, and that pushes me into looking for a perfect plan B. I found VirtueMart, haven't tried it but it looks very promising. Just look at Demos for some real actions; worried 'bout support already, I'm sure that a bunch of know-it-alls on Fourm would love to give you a hand.

Edward Hopper - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia - 0 views

The image on the left is entitled Nighthawks, which gave me a very strong impression the first time I saw it on a wordpress blog last week and fortunately I saw it again yesterday in a bookstore. Do you see how sharp the light and the building are? and are you just like me, feeling your heart beat faster and faster by the empty but disturbing atmosphere in the painting. If your anwers can't be more positive, it's about time for you to meet another master like Edward Hopper who can teach you some lessons you can't learn from anyone else.

Computer Arts - Be more creative - 0 views

  • It’s vital to keep your creative juices flowing when fulfilling design briefs, for both your work and your sanity. Industry pros reveal how they stay inspired
  • Computers aren’t everything – screens don’t provide solutions if you stare at them for long enough. Wrench yourself free and investigate relevant media and forms of expression.
  • If you’re working solo, however, work fast and don’t think too much – use sketchbooks to get ideas down quickly. And, when struggling, don’t force ideas; instead, temporarily put a project on hold and work on something else. Projects often then inform each other.
  •
"Computers aren't everything" I think that's an incredibly important statement. Drawing with a nice pen or pencil on good paper can get you thinking in a very different way than arranging pixels on a screen. When I'm stuck, or even when I'm not stuck for ideas I find the nearest library and look for the oldest, largest most decrepit books and pull them off the shelf to look at them. There are many gems languishing on forgotten shelves. The other day I found a very large book from the 1920s chock full of beautifully colored prints of Masonic symbols and imagery. I took photos, if anyone's interested...

JungleJar | ProFolio - Free and Professional Portfolio - 0 views

  •
ProFolio is a professional ready to go portfolio that is perfectly suitable for both a personal portfolio or a more professionally oriented portfolio. Essentially anyone that wants an easy yet customizable way to display their graphical presentations such as photographs, digital art, web designs, etc would most likely be content with this software. Currently ProFolio is free, but the developers behind the software have been saying for as long as I've been aware of ProFolio that at some point in the somewhat near future they will be charging for further downloads. So, I wouldn't drag my feet too long before I gave this one a try.

Ritchard Rodriguez Oil Paintings - 0 views

I see my paintings as living creatures with shapes, problems and solutions that I address within a candid dialogue, stemming from pure spontaneity, entering a space of concentration, rhythm, physical gesturing, and an understanding of where a work wants to go.

I Love Barn Doors - 1 views

  • I love barn doors. They're rustic and full of personality, and somehow they seamlessly mesh with any space and any home decor design. They can be used to replace existing doors, as a room divider, as a piece of wall art, or even integrated into furniture. Here are eight more reasons why I love barn doors.
  • Trusty tabletop While this barn door was once used outdoors, it becomes a unique coffee tabletop indoors, lending a shabby chic feel to the space.
