Quick Screen Share - 0 views

" About QuickScreenShare.com: QuickScreenShare.com is the simplest way to share screens with anybody: No registration required and completely free. Nothing to install for sharer or sharee (assuming you have Java). Works on Windows, Mac, and Linux. Even lets you remotely control mouse and keyboard! This free service is a side project from the creators of Screencast-O-Matic.com and is still in BETA. We use it extensively for remote user support and collaboration. The current version creates a direct peer-to-peer connection, so if you're on a super duper secure school or company network it may or may not be able to connect, but in most cases you'll find it works quite well so give it a shot! Cooliris | Media browser plug-in, mobile app, gallery builder - 0 views

  •
We first featured Cooliris nearly three years ago, when it was still called PicLens. This fantastic free browser plugin offers an image search interface like no other. It works on the expected image search platforms - Google, Flickr, etc. - but we particularly like its use on Facebook, where the native image browsing is lacking at best.

Study Vibe - Making referencing real - 1 views

  •
Making referencing real Do you know how to reference the resources you use in a research project? When you do any kind of research you will be getting information from a lot of different places. As well as Internet sites you may use, books, magazines, videos, interviews, newspapers etc. The task you are given and the kind of information you require will determine which resources you use. It is very important to record the places that you got your information from in a bibliography or reference list. In fact you should start making your reference list right at the start of your project and record every source of information you use. Even if you only get a couple of ideas and don't quote anything you still need to acknowledge the source of information.

Magisto - 0 views

  • is a new tool for creating online slideshows. The nice feature about it is that it’s designed to easily grab videos, images, and websites (among other things) off the web to incorporate in the presentations.
  •
" is a new Animoto-like service that lets you upload several short videos and it then somehow "recognizes" the most important parts and turns it into a magically-produced one minute video. It's still invitation-only, but I got one seconds after I requested one."

"you still need an invite to use it- that lets you create what you could call interactive slideshows. In some ways, I might describe it as a more sophisticated Prezi that's easier to create and less confusing to watch."

Storybird - Collaborative storytelling - 2 views

  •
I made a nice story using this. It is very easy to use, has different options for page set up depending on the picture orientation, but when I signed up, they sent me an email and it still hasn't come through to my school email, no spam either...this has happened with Prezi emails too.

"Storybird reverses the process of visual storytelling by starting with the image and "unlocking" the story inside. Choose an artist or a theme, get inspired, and start writing. "
