Draw your own comics Chogger is an awesome comic strip building platform. It looks like Pixton and Make Beliefs  but offers extra services. Choggers has a good editing tool that allows users to create their own cartoons out of imported photos. Users can even hook on their camera and snap images to edit on Chogger. There are also tools to help users start  drawing their own  images  from scratch. It is indeed so much fun working on Chogger and students will definitely feel at ease using it. Way back in the day, when I was a student, I remember drawing out my timelines with colored pencils on pieces of taped together construction paper (to make the line long enough). We've come a long way since the late '80′s, and there are a lot of web tools and apps out there that help users make much more advanced timelines than I could crank out with my awesome colored pencils. Whether you're using them to chronicle well known historical events, or your own personal history, these tools can bring together audio, video, photos, text, and more to showcase a well rounded, multimedia timeline to tell your story. Time Toast timetoast Time Toast also offers uses free, unlimited timelines and easy Facebook integration. The interface is extremely simple - just click 'add an event', and you can add text, links, or photos. While it doesn't offer some of the audio/video options that some of the other products we mention in this post do, it offers a lot more simplicity. Of note, there are a number of ads on the site - which can be expected with a free tool - but just something to keep in mind. Meograph meograph Meograph's tagline is 'Four Dimensional Storytelling'. I made a nice story using this. It is very easy to use, has different options for page set up depending on the picture orientation, but when I signed up, they sent me an email and it still hasn't come through to my school email, no spam either...this has happened with Prezi emails too.

"Little Bird Tales lets you easily make slideshows where you can add text and, more importantly for English Language Learners, provide an audio narration. On nice touch is that you can virtually paint/draw artwork in addition to uploading images (unfortunately, the site doesn't have the ability to grab photos off the web by url addresses). It's free to use, but I'm unclear on if there will be an eventual cost to use the site. It appears to have an upper limit on the number of shows you can produce."
