Bella Corporation on Monday showed an iPad companion app to its KillerKeys software at the 2012 NAB Show in Las Vegas. The KillerKeys iPad App provides quick acess to shortcut commands across creative tools (including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Media Composer, Maya, 3DS Max), plus a trackpad with gesture controls, application launcher, volume and zoom controls as well as a multimedia widget with a jog wheel.

I came across the app Painting With Time and Painting with Time: Climate Change a few months ago and was absolutely blown away! As Earth Day is on the horizon (Sunday, April 22nd 2012), I thought it might be app-ropro to provide a handful of suggestions to teach climate change and support being green using the iPad. (The climate change app is currently paid for Earth Day. The app developer will be donating half of the net proceeds to the Union of Concerned Scientists to aid their research on the effects of climate change on our planet.)

Photoscape is a free software which you can download. This software has many uses but the one which I really like is the ability to create photo collages and add speech bubbles. It would be interesting to hear how others would use this software. It is great for creating Digital Storytelling, comics, digital multimodal products and collages.
