The Supreme Court delivered two judgments yesterday, i.e., passed a verdict on the disqualification of MPs and MLAs against whom a charge-sheet has been filed and dismissed a plea seeking to bar lawmakers from practising in courts of law across India.
The SC is set to deliver four more key judgments today, including the constitutional validity of Aadhaar.
The SC today reserved its verdict on a plea by Romila Thapar and others seeking the immediate release of 5 activists in connection with the Koregaon-Bhima violence case and a SIT probe into their arrest. The SC bench reserved the judgment after counsel for both parties concluded their submissions.
