I'm going to discuss MOOC's and how they relate to the workplace, specifically
    1. How they help students to attain jobs
    a. Allows for specific learning in order to obtain job more specific than degree
    b. UDACITY, a M.O.O.C, accepts resumes of their students and passes them on to employers
    c. COURSERA announced employee-matching service
    d. Allows for networking and exposure to language of the job
    2. How they use them for employee development
    a. Allows for specific learning opportunities vs broad education
    i. I.E: a refresher to things put into a relevant context for a current employee
    b. Follow up to things learned at work
    i. M.O.O.Cs backed up by "credibility of professors" and "pedigree of university"

While M.O.O.C success stories seem limited or hard to find, their use in the workplace is not. I've attached articles I'm reading about using them for "career advancement or professional development", and an article about employers having their employees take them to stay current.

The 3rd highlight i made in the "Back to School" article brings up a good point. M.O.O.C's would be useful for those who graduate college with a degree in Film for instance, but choose to become an Editor and require specialized experience without the need to pay for more classes.
