iScroll 4 mobile webkit touch scrolling - 0 views

  •
"iScroll 4 is a complete rewrite of the original iScroll code. The script development began because mobile webkit (on iPhone, iPad, Android) does not provide a native way to scroll content inside a fixed width/height element. This unfortunate situation prevents any web-app to have a position:absolute header and/or footer and a scrolling central area for contents. While latest Android revisions are supporting this functionality (although support is not optimal), Apple seems reluctant to add one finger scrolling to divs. In addition to all previous iScroll features, version 4 introduces: Pinch / Zoom Pull up/down to refresh Improved speed and momentum Snap to element Customizable scrollbars"

Improvise - 0 views

Exploratory visualization based on multiple coordinated views is a rapidly growing area of information visualization. Ideally, users would be able to explore their data by switching freely between building and browsing in a flexible, integrated, interactive graphical environment that requires little or no programming skill to use. However, the possibilities for displaying data across multiple views depends on the flexibility of coordination, the expressiveness of graphical encoding, and the ability of users to comprehend the structure of their visualizations as they work. As a result, exploration has been limited in practice to a small fraction of useful visualizations. Improvise is a fully-implemented Java software architecture and user interface that enables users to build and browse highly-coordinated visualizations interactively. By coupling a shared-object coordination model with a declarative visual query language, users gain precise control over how navigation and selection affects the appearance of data across multiple views, using a potentially infinite number of variations on well-known coordination patterns such as synchronized scrolling, overview+detail, brushing, drill-down, and semantic zoom. Improvise has been used to build numerous visualizations for exploring information including election results, particle trajectories, network loads, music collections, the chemical elements, and even the dynamic coordination structure of its own visualizations in situ. This last technique-integrated metavisualization-is unique to Improvise.

5 Best Software Prototyping Design Tools for UX/UI Designers in 2021 What is software prototyping? Which tool is the first came into your mind when mentioned about software prototyping tool? Actually, nothing mysterious about software prototyping. It's similar to the border term prototyping, a way for the manufacturer to get know what the final product will look like, so to evaluate how much additional resources could cost. On the other hand, superabundant prototyping tools are available nowadays, how to choose? Here I only pick the best 5 prototyping tools for your inspiration. What is software prototyping actually? Software prototyping is much the same as prototyping in the border product design field. It is a necessary step involved in daily software design. Normally, after doing enough UX research like gathering ideas, data, information, demands, evaluation, then it's time to build a prototype. The basic software stage including: https://www.invisionapp.com/ https://balsamiq.com/ https://www.justinmind.com/ https://www.figma.com/ https://www.adobe.com/products/xd.html# Idea Generation; Demand Generation; Function and Structure; Prototyping Stage; PRD (replaced by prototyping for most occasions); Road Map Usually, there are few common types of software prototyping: Paper prototyping - this is mostly for self-usage, to record ideas; Rapid prototyping - the most demanding prototypes, a wide range of application; High-fidelity prototyping - emphasis interactions and user interface, for stockholders & development team; Low-fidelity prototyping - emphasis interactions and thoughts, for design teams; As you see, except paper prototyping, all the rest need to use a prototyping tool. For your better decisions, I will introduce the tool from several aspects: Cost: How much will you spend? Compatibility: Is the tool for Mac or Windows or both? Key features: What can it do? Learning Curve: How long it takes you to get started? Usage pattern: Are you pr

Are You Making these Web Design Mistakes in 2019? Your website can make or break your business goals. It's not just about how your website looks. It's about how your website performs and how user-friendly it is. In fact, you have less than 10 seconds to impress your visitors. If you can't strike a chord with them in these 10 seconds, they will leave. You must have come across a ton of websites telling you what to do. However, there are many things you must not do when it comes to web design. In this post, our web design Mississauga team looks at some of the common mistakes businesses make when it comes to their web design. Your Website is Not Mobile Friendly If your website is not mobile friendly, you are losing prospective customers who use smaller devices (tablets and smartphones) to access your website. Your audience expects you to have a mobile friendly website. There's no way out. And this is something you must fix sooner than later. Your Message is Not Clear This is perhaps the biggest mistake. Why? Because users begin making an opinion about your business right from the moment they land on your site. If your visitors can't make what exactly your business is about and what you do, they are likely to leave. At the bare minimum, your products/services must be clearly visible along with trust-building elements such as achievements, accolades, testimonials and industry affiliations. Your Website is Slow to Load Online users are very impatient thanks to a nifty tool called "back" button on their browsers. People do not like waiting and they expect your website to load quickly. Now when we say, quickly, we don't mean under 10 seconds or even 5 seconds. In fact, 47% of people expect a website to load within 2 seconds or sooner. The longer time your website takes to load, the higher is the probability of your users leaving your website. Your Contact Information Isn't Easily Available Once on your homepage, most of your visitors want to see y
