interesting WP plugin - may not be appropriate for UT Libs since you have no control over the external comments, but very interesting
  •
Allows you to hide the comment until approved by an admin... seems to work well... i enabled it on tis and longhorn reviews... of course, no comments were found out in the internets.

An alternative to reCAPTCHA...still not perfect. It could trip up someone with cognitive disabilities..or pretty much anyone having an off day. But perhaps it's better than asking a blind user to remember an 8 digit sequence with JAWS talking over the recording and having to repeatedly enter/exit forms mode? It could be edited to include an easier sequence which would make it even more accessible for everyone except spambots.

Beautifully Designed Website, HUGE IA Effort - 2 views

  •
This is an example of a beautifully designed, built and IA'd website. They intend for this website to be a "journey website" in which you spend time exploring the site. The designer must be very happy becase his/her vision was allowed to be shown. The details of the website are too consistent to be a site designed by committee. I'm not commenting on it's compliance or browser capabilities, just the design. Sigh.
