    First off, the Nokia-owned company has launched LocationPoint in Europe. LocationPoint is NAVTEQ's proprietary location-based advertising service that ties together businesses with end users through mobile devices. The platform-independent solution can serve advertisements, coupons and other incentives to end users based on their location. For instance, an end user in the vicinity of a coffee shop could be served a coupon for a discount on a premium cup of joe.
