This website is devoted to Golden Age Spanish theatre, and offers a variety of resources for the student and researcher working in this field. Available to download from the site are electronic versions of a selection of plays by Cervantes, Lope de Vega, Tirso de Molina, Calderón de la Barca, and Ruiz de Alarcón.

This Web site is the online adaptation of Jean S Chittenden's 1964 doctoral thesis, 'Los nombres de personajes en las comedias de Tirso de Molina', which has become a useful tool for the study of Tirso's characters, the names used and the distribution across various categories such as 'noble', criado', or 'gracioso'. The site's List of Characters provides first and last name, title and category. Chittenden also wrote plot summaries for the 61 authentic works by Tirso, which are also available here, together with links to the full-text versions from the Comedia Web site
