Here you will find the first version of the English Russian Glossary of terms and expressions pertaining to the Games organization and staging. This document has been prepared by the Organizing Committee 'Sochi 2014' Language Services Department. It includes entries chosen in the course of documents translation for the Organizing Committee in 2010 - 2012. The Glossary is organized alphabetically and thematically. Some sections (e.g., construction, medicine, ecology, technology, finance and legal) will be useful to a wide range of specialists, working in various industries. Other sections (such as Games Management, Olympic Movement, International Sport Federations and Games Venues) are more specific and will be used mostly by the Games translators and interpreters.
