Blue Lakes in the Mt. Sneffels Wilderness near Ouray is probably one of my all-time favorite hikes. The scenery is as breathtaking as any of the best hikes in the best national parks around the country.

The famous trek to the Key Hole on Longs Peak requires a difficult slog through the Boulder Field, a rugged section of "trail", roughly 2/3 of a mile in length and climbs about 800 feet.
