Today Indian stock market is trading with more than 0.5 per cent growth.On morning at 10:50 am, the Sensex gained 158 points to 25,487 and Nifty gained 42 points to 7617 levels. Midcap and Smallcap stocks rose from 0.8 to 1.2 per cent. Realty stocks grows by 2.25 per cent. Auto shares rose 2 per cent and Capital goods rose 1 percent. Bank, IT, technical, consumer durables, metal stocks are strong by 0.5 per cent. Healthcare, Oil & Gas, Power shares also shows growth.FMCG stocks are under pressure. In Realty stocks, Indiabulls Real Estate, DLF, Oberoi Realty, HDIL, Delta Corp, Unitech rose from 3.3 to 2 per cent.

Today after opening, the stock market touched the new heights and Nifty reached 7922. But after a spectacular rallies of 6 days, the market is busy with profit taking sessions. Realty, capital goods, oil & gas and FMCG stocks have selling pressure on the market. However, pharma, IT and technology stocks have buying trend. While there is good buying in smallcap stocks.Midcap stocks are sluggish. The BSE 30-share Sensex index down 70 points, ie 0.25 per cent and is trading at a level of 26,353. The NSE 50-share Nifty index fell 19 points to 7879.

Due to spectacular signals in Indian stock market Sensex and Nifty have managed to reach a new peak.Sensex touched new record from the upper level of 27248.79 and Nifty touched a new record of 8149.25. Sensex rose 13.84 points or 0.05 per cent and is trading at 29 394. Nifty rose 2.35 points or 0.03 per cent and trading at 8925 level. Metal sector dropped by 0.5 per cent. Realty stocks fell by 0.44 per cent. Capital goods fell by 0.34 per cent. Healthcare stocks climbed 1.67 percent. FMCG shares rose 1.23 per cent. Consumer durables stocks are trading up 0.67 per cent.

Silver was up 0.2 percent at $1,169.26 an ounce. The number of Americans filing new claims for unemployment benefits rose only modestly last week, indicating the labor market remained on solid footing despite slowing economic growth. Initial claims for state unemployment benefits increased 1,000 to a seasonally adjusted 291,000 for the week ended March 14, the Labor Department said on Thursday. Claims for the prior week were revised to show 1,000 more applications received than previously reported. Economists polled by Reuters had forecast claims rising to 292,000 last week. A Labor Department analyst said there was nothing unusual in the state-level data. Claims have bounced around for much of the winter as harsh weather either depressed or boosted filings. Today Indian stock market slipped into red mark after showing up a fastness in early trading. Sensex reached below the level 26,000.Right now it seems to be in recovering stage. On morning at 10:14 am, the Sensex fell 68 points to 26032 and Nifty at 7759, down 28 points. Midcap and Smallcap stocks fell from 0.5 to 0.75 per cent.
